A buddy of mine dropped off his Canon Rebel 300D w/18-55mm for me one lunch time. Unfortunately I was only able to shoot what was in the immediate area of my work place.
I loved the results I got with it and the kit lens (18-55mm). Performed quite well. Nice bokeh DOF. Pretty sharp and the Rebel was a joy to use. I should be getting my Rebel XT soon so I'll post up a review then.
Nice work, guy; just imagine if you had more time, hopefully it can be arranged next time. I don't understand a few of the shots, though............ fire hydrant? "stores receiving" sign? lamp poles/lines?............. ah well! Keith

Hi Keith, the 1st hydrant was at widest f-stop and the second was at full zoom. The sign was also a DOF test and the lamp poles/lines were to test how the lens handles varying textures and shadows contrasting a blue sky. There's always a method to my maddness...lol
