It's was Christmas time in Trinidad & Tobago when my girlfriend, Nicole, decided to go to New York to host a Memorial for her mother in February 2006. We both have friends and relatives in various parts of New York so even though it's a bitter sweet trip we're both very excited.

I went to Miami 2 years ago but I've never been to NY. Nicole's been there several times when her Mom was ill, so going to NY brings back memories of that very sad time in her life. I hope I can help her enjoy this trip. I think she's increadibly brave to host this Memorial.. sometimes I wish and had half her strength.
This trip means alot to the both of us and I aim to ensure we spend our time enjoying each other's company.
